I do not know how this random realization came to my mind on this day, but it did, and I thank God it did. As I’m sitting here on my charts waiting for G U to hit my tp while listening to Freddie Scott’s – You got what I Need, and eating a few dates. It came to my mind how much community is important, and this thought makes me so emotional for some reason.
Why is it so difficult for people in your close circle to support your decisions, whatever that may be? This is my question to myself that I just cannot seem to quite understand.
It is just so understandable why a community is important to one’s success, in anything! We see it in schools, prayer groups, businesses, etc.
A group of people coming together for the same goal and they’re rooting for each other’s success. My thought on this is that when you have people in your corner, literally praying for you to succeed in your goals, and literally wishing for the best for you. It makes it easier for you because, not only your frequency, but the frequency of a group of people is in support of your decisions.
What you want for yourself they want it for you too. THIS IS SO F*CKING POWERFUL, HAVING THE RIGHT PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE. I’ve witnessed with my whole being what happens to others when I support them in achieving their goals. Nothing short of positive results.
You know, I know there’s a saying that it is our own that fight against us at times. This is really something to think about on a deep level because fighting does not always mean physical. But the lack of support toward what you want for yourself. YOU can never want for a person what they do not want for themselves. It’s easy in my opinion, for others to tell you what is best for you. Or want for you what you no longer want for yourself. As each day goes by, life is really teaching me. It’s in this season that I am learning that peace is more rewarding, as well as saying less.
