The Waiting Season.

The waiting season | Danicker Virgil

It is 10:41 PM July 11th, 2023 and I’ve prayed with the kids and finally got them in bed.

Rewind: while I was doing the laundry earlier today, I kept saying to myself I need to upload today, I need to upload today.

In the midst of saying that mantra, my train of thoughts kept flowing on what more I wanted to say in my post before unloading. There were so many key points but here I am 10 hours later with none of those key points in my thoughts.🥴 Tell me why I did not document in my journal, although I kept getting the urge to do so.

I titled this post: The Waiting Season because it felt relatable to me where I am at in life.

When we are in the midst of achieving our goals, our reality can distract us from achieving that goal. I could have chosen to go to sleep seeing that I have obviously forgotten what I wanted to mention. However, I chose to write because my goal is to upload this post before a new day starts.

As you can tell, the waiting season is when you will be tested on your dedication to your goals.

I wish I can say I am seeing the benefits of “writing”, the way other experience writers talk about it. Thank God I have a passion for writing because had I not, I’d probably have given up a long time ago due to the lack of desired results.

In life, we may pursue our goals by doing all we can to achieve what we pursue but we do not get our desired results when we expect to get it. This can become stressful resulting in us losing motivation. But during that time is when you need to stay motivated and optimistic.

Even if you’re not someone who’s good at being optimistic, you are going to learn how to be, during the waiting season.

I believe what Is for you, will never miss you. To know me is to know this.

When you have prayed about it.

You did what was needed to be done, to get to your goals or closer.

And have the patience to wait on the results, it will happen when you least expect it.

Growth is definitely a process, it does not happen today for tomorrow. At least the type of growth I desire and maybe the type you desire, as well.

I say when you’ve done your best, continue living your life focusing on achieving new goals that are in alignment with your major goal.

Do what it takes to stay positive during your waiting season.

As always, I trust this post was of great value to you.
