When you’re someone who prefers to put in the work to have your desired reward. Having that reward just handed to you will never compare.
And that’s the thing. Some people think you want handouts, and they strive to do just that.
They will never understand your drive to make things happen for yourself and they’ll make comments like;
“But you have all you ever want”, or “What are you complaining about? You have all you need, you have life nice, your needs are taken care of”.
They just do not get it and it seems they may never get it.
In saying all that, I am not saying it is not a good thing when people such as your significant other willingly want to be the provider. Of course, I believe in this, but doing it for yourself is just different… If you can resonate with what I am saying thus far, you’ll know exactly why it’s different, even if I am not fully transparent. Contradicting right?
Inner thoughts.
Nothing can feel more caged when you’re trying to build something in an environment where all the odds are against you. You’ll never understand the feeling until you’re actually in the situation.
Those are the times when you’re like, “Why me? Why do I have to be the one, when it wasn’t me alone.” It’s like, I care too much.
But then. Everyone is facing something in life based on their lifestyle. what might look and be good for someone else, may not be good for me and vice versa. So it’s like, whatever your situation is, you acknowledge it and deal with it in the best way possible, without losing yourself to the situation.
At the end of the day, God is in control and allowed you to be the one fit for the situation. So it’s a matter of dealing with it and understanding what He requires from you during your situation.
And the way I see it, it’s to have an intimate relationship with Him. That’s what He wants. For you to have a relationship with Him. This first starts by believing He exists, and if you believe He exists, then you must put your Faith in Him. Once you put your faith in Him, you will realize He is a God of endless possibilities and is capable of anything, including changing your entire situation around for good.
